Après deux mois (un peu) trop silencieux, je peux enfin vous annoncer la bonne nouvelle : j'ai réservé ma guest house ! Faites péter le champomy ! J'angoissais de ne pas y être acceptée, vu que ce n'est pas une grande chaîne comme Sakura House qui brasse du monde, mais finalement, pas de problème, j'ai même eu la chambre que je voulais, que demander de plus ?
Je ne vous dévoilerais pas encore son nom, je préfère vous donner mon avis (positif ou négatif) après mes deux mois là-bas. Tout se que je peux vous dire, c'est que le service est réglo, le gérant très à l'écoute et que ça a l'air très propre. Pour l'endroit, je serai située à Takadanobaba, sur la ligne Yamanote (qu'importe la guest house, il me fallait cette condition de toute façon). Je préfère payer plus cher ma chambre (69,000¥ le mois, oui, c'est clair, j'ai vu moins cher) mais avoir moins à payer niveau transports. Vu les prix des trajets au Japon, c'est plus rentable et surtout bien plus pratique. Car oui, Takadanobaba 高田馬場 (ou "Baba" pour les intime), à part être le quartier d'Osamu Tezuka, c'est surtout à 2 stations de Shinjuku ! Et pour la petit-anecdote-qui-sert-à-rien, ça veut littéralement dire "le terrain d'équitation de Takada", si c'est pas magnifique ça ! Sur ce, je vous laisse avec une image du quartier qui pourrait sans rougir se retrouver dans Drive !
After 2 months of non-excusable silence, I can finally announce you that I've booked my guest house! Prepare yourself to launch the fireworks! I feared at first that I won't be accepted, because it's not as big as Sakura House, which receive many people, but at the end, it went all smooth, I even had the room I wanted, what can I ask for more?!
I won't be telling you its name yet, I prefer giving you a proper review (positiv or negativ) once my two months there will be finish. The only thing I can say is that the service is legit, the owner is very attentive and it looks really clean. As for the location, I'll be in Takadanobaba, on the Yamanote Line (regardless the guest house, I would have stick to this condition no matter what). I rather pay more for my room (69,000¥ for a month, I've seen cheaper, it's true) but then pay less for the transports. Considering the cost of transports in Japan, it is much more rentable
and above all, much more practical. Because yes, Takadanobaba 高田馬場 (or
Baba, for his nickname), apart from being the town of Osamu Tezuka, it
is above all located only two stops from Shinjuku! And as for the
useless-little-anecdote, it litteraly means "Takada's horse riding
ground", great isn't it? Upon which, I leave you guys with a picture of the area who could proudly stand in Drive!
